Dr. Qinglang Ma received his bachelor’s degree and doctoral degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He currently sits as an associate professor at the School of Interdisciplinary Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. He has published over 40 research papers in top journals, including Nature Chemical Engineering, Advanced Materials, etc. He has chaired two national research projects from National Natural Science Foundation and the National Key Research and Development Program of China. His current research interests include synthesis of crystalline porous materials (e.g. metal-organic frameworks and covalent organic frameworks) and their applications in emerging clean water harvesting techniques and low-carbon technologies.
