1. Introduction

Dr. Junwen Zhou is an assistant professor at Beijing Institute of Technology. He received his B.S. degree in material chemistry in 2010 and Ph.D. degree with Professor Xingguo Li in inorganic chemistry in 2015 from College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University. He has worked in the field of lithium-sulfur batteries and lithium-ion batteries during his Ph.D. study, and has published papers on these topics on Energy Environ. Sci., Coord. Chem. Rev., J. Mater. Chem. A, and Chem. Commun., etc. His current research interests include electrochemical energy storage materials and devices (such as lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors), focusing on the properties of functional porous materials in electrochemical systems.
