1. Introduction

    Dr. Xiao Feng received his B.S. degree in material chemistry in 2008 and Ph.D. degree in material science in 2013 from Beijing Institute of Technology. He carried out a joint Ph.D. research program supported by CSC at Institute for Molecular Science, Japan (2009-2012). Now he is an professor at Beijing Institute of Technology. His work mainly focuses on the structure-function relationship of crystalline porous materials (i.e. covalent organic frameworks and metal-organic frameworks) and membrane separation. As first or corresponding author, he has published 31 papers in highly acknowledged journal, including J. Am. Chem. Soc. (5), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (7), Nat. Commun. (1) and Adv. Mater. (2). Up to now, he has published papers with over 5000 times non-self-citations, and has a H-index of 36.
